WELCOME TO HMS
Workspaces for Fine Artists

HMS was set up in 2007 to provide 18 "wet & dirty" spaces for fine artists by Jackie Berridge The studios benefit from an exhibition area and a curatorial research space. It is also is self-financed and run without annual revenue funding from the public purse.

However, we would like to thank Erewash Borough Council & Derby University for their support in setting up a graduate residency at HMS. Also lottery funding from the Arts Council of £5000 towards upgrading the electrics has been very much appreciated.
